CNRS, i.e. the French national research institution, recruits talented researchers once a year via a centralised competition. Applications must include a research project mentioning a few possible research labs where the candidate could carry out their project, ideally with a support letter from the labs’ directors. Our lab (LIS) and the TALEP team are one of the possible “destinations” for recruited CNRS researchers. And next year, NLP is mentioned as a prioritary theme!

If you are a young NLP researcher interested in full research positions in France (no mandatory teaching), this is a perfect timing to apply. The deadline is January 5, 2023, but the sooner you contact us the better ;-)
